Booking terms and conditions
After making your reservation you will receive an email confirming the cottage(s) reserved and the amount that needs to be paid. The full amount must be paid by bank transfer as indicated in the email at the latest two weeks before the reservation starts.
Arrival is possible from 3pm onwards the starting day of the reservation. On the last day, the cottage must be vacated by 12pm, unless otherwise agreed.
Before the reservation starts, you will be sent information on how to obtain a key to the cottage. On departure, you can leave the key inside the cottage.
Final cleaning of the cottage is not included in the rental price. Each of the cottages has a list of duties to be done on departure. If you choose to buy the house cleaning on departure, the price is 60€. Failure to clean the cottage upon departure will mean a 60€ extra charge.
Each cottage has instructions to be followed regarding operation of the cottage equipment. Please follow the information carefully. Should anything be out of order, please contact the owner immediately via phone (+358 44 0207 097).

Cancellation Policy
On cancellations, we reserve a cancellation fee of 30€. If the reservation is cancelled at least 7 days prior to the start of the booking, the paid amount, minus the cancellation fee, will be refunded to the account indicated. If the cancellation is made less that 48 hours no refund will be made.

The the cause of the cancellation is serious illness, serious accident or death, the payment will always be refunded, with the exception of the 30€ cancellation fee. Upon request, Kakaravaara staff might require reliable proof for the reason for cancellation (such as a doctors notice).
